Damn, It Was Different Then!
Today in the "Assclown's" (my nickname for our 'president') weekly radio address, he mentioned, by name, my high school in New Jersey. Bush was talking about dealing with drugs within schools.
"We have never seen a prevention curriculum that affected the numbers this substantially.
We finally had a tool that was making a large difference."
It's pretty incredible how things have changed. Granted, I graduated high school in 1992... pre-Columbine... pre-911... it seems like we were so innocent then. The worst thing we did was maybe steal a couple street signs, get to class a lil late, and play our Def Leppard and Poisen too loud in the car! Ah... those were the days!
Although I vehemently disagree with almost everything the Assclown says and does, I do agree with the fact that drug testing in schools could be a positive thing. I think it's all fair game with kids. Someone's got to set them straight. God knows that parents want to blame everyone else for their children's misbehavior!
