Sushi & Dominoes
After a relaxing Saturday at home by myself (Barbara was out wedding dress shopping with her sisters) Lily and David came over to try on the bridesmaid dress and to go get some sushi.
The dress fit her pretty well, and it looked really nice on her too. Perfect... just another thing to check off our lists (bridesmaids' dresses.)
Afterwards we headed over to our favorite local sushi restaurant Got Sushi? The name of the place is kinda retarded (in my opinion,) but their sushi and tepanyaki is awesome (and cheap too!) We stuffed ourselves with some sushi and then went over to Red Mountain Ranch Country Club to show them where our wedding was going to be held.
Unfortunately there was a wedding reception going on there so we really weren't able to show them around too much. We quietly snuck down to the golf course so they could see the area where the actual ceremony is going to be held. As we headed back to the car we could see the amazing view from the opposite side of the building.
Barbara wanted to get a slushy from Sonics... I one upped her and offered Hawaiian Shaved Ice instead! I think it's one of our new favorite places. After getting some ices we headed back home, and Lily and David were excited to show us some floor plans and elevations for a few home models. We were talking for a while, and then I mentioned that now would've been a good time for us to have some board games to play. So miraculously I found my dominoes - where they came from, I have no idea! One day I just realized that I had a set of dominoes.
After a quick explanation of the game and a few rounds of questions, both Barbara and I quickly got the hang of the game... she won the first game! So we played another round of dominoes, but this time we played to double the usual amount of points. I'm not sure if that was a good idea! I think that between it getting late and our brains having a tough time with simple addition, the game was taking a toll on us! Finally we finished our 2nd game around 1:45 am! I think we found our new game! But enough dominoes... for tonight at least!
Barbara is sitting right next to me blogging as well. I think she's writing about the same things as I am! Hmmm... I wonder if she wants to play another game of dominoes?
