Now it feels like Christmas!

On Friday night we went out and got ourselves a live Christmas tree from down on the corner. It was so cool! I was psyched to actually be able to use all the space in our new vehicle. It actually all fit inside with the back door closed! Ok, so it may seem kinda retarded, but for some reason it gave me some sense of satisfaction.
We got the tree up and decorated in like an hour (just a little anxious, huh?) I think that it was just so we could empty our bedroom of all the Christmas gifts. Finally a place to put them besides beside our bed. I know Barbara was just dying to get the gifts wrapped anyway!

Every year I've had my own place I've had some Christmas lights up. For some reason, this year I've been slacking! Maybe it's because I've been busy with my classes.
Last night Lily and David had a potluck dinner over at thier place. It was a lot fun. We had a bunch of food and played "Scene It!" Of course our team kicked butt (again!)
So we are finally 100% all done Christmas shopping!!! Well, all shopped out except for all the pets in the family...
yes, we buy pet toys. And yes, of course for Christmas! Yes we are those types of people.
All done shopping... well, all except for Barbara. Still doing some thinking and maybe that'll be coming soon (better be... I'm running out of time!)

Now a term paper next week and 2 Office Christmas parties and then we're on our way back to N.J. (again for the 3rd time this year!)
It's amazing... once, maybe twice a year... but this year 3 times!!!
It's a very busy year with all the wedding and engagements.
For the first time in over 8 years am I gonna be back East for New Years Eve. This should be fun!
