Road Trip We had a good time in California this weekend. The drive ended up being very easy... no traffic going there or coming back. It probably had something to do with the fact that we left at 6:30am on Saturday morning and yesterday.

The primary reason we drove out to Cali was to pick up Barbara's aunt that moved here from Vietnam. It was interesting to see her reactions to American culture and everyday occurences.

One of the things that I thought was kind of ironic (maybe not the right word) was that this woman had just stepped off the plane from Vietnam... and now we all took her out to eat at a buffet!

There just seems something so "wrong" with immediately introducing her to the gluttony of an all-you-can eat buffet!  ¶ 11:50 PM
