  Happy Fourth of July!

Another 3 day weekend has come and gone (not that it matters much to me now.) And in Arizona those barbecues are starting to end, and the big skies are just starting to get dark enough for those fireworks to begin.

Overall this weekend has been nice and relaxing: A bunch of movies on Friday night and Saturday and Waterworld (local water park) yesterday.

Besides getting fried to a nice hue of lobster red yesterday we had an enjoyable day at the water park. We hit some water slides, relaxed on the lazy river, and also bobbed around in the wave pool.

One piece of advise: if you ever feel bad about your body image and you need a little pick-me-up... go to a water park!

No matter how large you think your belly has gotten, there are many other people at a water park that are quite larger than you. Unfortunately, most of them also have no shame in showing you their rolls of fat and cheese stuffed inside a bathing suit meant for someone 10 times smaller than them. (It'll be my luck that I end up like that now!)

But isn't that the American way? You're free to do (almost) whatever the hell you please, and I'm free to rant about the "large" people at the water park.

So in conclusion...

You may be big...
but there are many more people larger than you,
and by the way...

Happy Fourth of July!
