Dictionary.com defines Cronyism
as:
(noun) favoritism shown to friends and associates (as by appointing them to positions without regard for their qualifications)
I'm a news junkie... I've got it on in the background nonstop. It's funny... recently in the news they've been starting to use the term "cronyism" to describe Bush's newest nomination of Miers for the Supreme Court.
Are you kidding me? Where have you all been? Dubya has been spewing nothing but cronyism during his whole tenure as President. What about Rove? What about Scott Gottlieb? What about David Safavian? And of course there's good ol "Brownie" (Michael Brown) the inadequate head of FEMA.
