It's Monday morning, and surprisingly, it doesn't feel too bad for the
beginning of the week.

I'm not tired from the weekend. I'm not exhausted with the feeling of a
"lost" and forgotten weekend.

It feels like we did a lot this weekend and got a lot done.

Friday night was band night... Which is always fun (thanks to my
permanent designated driver.)

Saturday, she did some shopping while I painted the house and then sushi
with some friends. (I'm starting to think that Sakana isn't nearly as
good as Sushi Kee.)

Sunday, we went out for breakfast in the morning and then more painting
and cleaning while the wifey was with her school group.

It was so beautiful outside this weekend. A little warm in the sun, but
otherwise very pleasant outside. I even had the windows and doors open
while painting. It was warm, but the breeze still made it somewhat
comfortable.

With the beautiful weather, I made my wifey and I get out and go for a
little drive yesterday afternoon. And where did we go...

The house of course.

You can definitely see the progress now! We arrived to find out that
the sidewalks have been put in, and the streets are all graded (a water
truck was spraying water on the roads to keep the dust down.) The house
footing has been poured and after the electrical and plumbing has been
laid the cement slab will be poured soon. It looks like there's gonna
be about 20-25 feet between the sidewalk and our front door. So not a
huge front yard, but still a decent size. Less yard means less
landscaping! I guess that's a good thing. The backyard looks like
there may be enough room for a pool! We're gonna have to think about
that... It would be really nice!

WOW... THE OFFICE ALARMS ARE GOING OFF!!!!
DAMN IT'S LOUD!

Ok,they're off now... WTF???

OK... THEY'RE BACK ON NOW!!!!

AHHHHHHHH!!!!

Ok, they're going off (again) now... Ok... I guess they're testing it.

Damn... That wakes you up!

What else?

Suns won game 7... I'm not a huge fan, but I've watched the last 3 games
- very exciting.
Diamondbacks finally lost one after a 6 game winning streak. I've been
watching a lot of their games this year - we've got a pretty decent team
this year! GO D-BACKS!

So other than that... Overall a good weekend.
