  Nuthin???
After a few months of being busy with school and work, I've actually come across a weekend where I have nothing to do... nuthin!

I'm only in my first week of my last course, and there is nothing to do just yet. I've got some reading to do, but that can wait a little bit. Procrastination... just the usual.

I've found myself going stir-crazy in this tiny apartment. We have our computers, the television, and plenty to read. But I'm bored. I'm not used to having "down" time. I've started browsing the internet, and I keep going to the same damn 3 or 4 sites.

We got DVR for our cable box yesterday, so we've had plenty butt-to-couch contact this weekend. I'm going to be watching way too much television now! Damn it!

The weekend was rather uneventful. Nothing major to report. We checked out the house. The latest is that they enclosed the back yard in cement block fencing. You can really see how big the yard will be. Definitely big enough for a pool and then some!

Additionally, we got our driveway done. I can't wait till I can drive up my own driveway and park in my spot where no one else will park! (I hate my current apartment neighbors that can't freakin park their cars in the correct spaces! That's whole other irritating story!)

Just for the hell of it, we checked out the neighbor's house. The door was unlocked. The flooring was done, and some their counter tops were in... very basic - very little in upgrades.

Lets see what else????

I dragged the wifey out of the house today to go see "The Departed." Pretty freaking cool movie! I hate to admit it, but I like Leo's movies. Jack was very cool too. Story was slightly long, but the action and cast really made the movie.

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars.

So the next week shall be busy. Relatives are coming in to town for the wifey's graduation ceremony on Sunday. And I will be gearing up for next week's work trip to DC. Once they all leave, I leave for 5 days in DC.

This place (apartment) is making me go stir-crazy. It's essentially half the size of our townhome, and less than a third of the size of our new home. The apartment consists of basically two rooms (a living room/dining area and kitchen and then a bedroom and bathroom). The space is just too small. Especially with two cats. I can't wait to move. With about 2-3 months left to go on the house we're starting to get excited.

With the excitement of our new home, we've been starting to do some thinking about how we are planning to decorate. So far we're thinking asian-inspired modern. Not super sleek modern, but a comfortable, simple, functional modern. So with that, we introduced my wifey to IKEA.

I'm not really sure how it could be true, but she has never been to an IKEA. How can that be the case????

Nevertheless, we went to Ikea yesterday. We both went in saying that we will not buy a single thing. Luckily she was there - I would've left poor. ;n)

I think we went really to just start getting some ideas of what's out there and how we could potentially decorate our house.

We quickly found a couch, dresser, chairs, and ottomans that we both loved... luckily out tastes are very similar. The couch was sweet... slightly retro, made of black leather, and surprisingly very comfortable. It was a sectional but definitely not too overbearing for a room.

Ok, enough of the furniture talk...

Time to start thinking about televisions!!! :n)
