Happy New Years (almost)!

Well, our trip to the East coast is almost over and overall everything has been great. It hasn't been as cold as we thought it was going to be, but today it got pretty cold and is now snowing. No matter what, Barbara is always cold!
Earlier in the week we went down to Maryland to visit all the relatives. We spent a quick 2.5 days down there visiting everyone (So many kids!!!) The car drives were overall pretty good. Not too much traffic. We even made record time coming back to NJ on Wednesday.
Two nights ago we went out for some sushi at a place Seth and Leslie recently discovered (Wasabi). Very good sushi!
Yesterday we went into the city for a play and dinner. We went to see "Wicked" which was very good. We had a great time.
Afterwards we went to the Gotham Bar & Grill. This place was very good! The food was amazing and the place overall was very nice.
So tonight we are off to Brian and Maureen's for the second annual New Years Eve get-together. It should be fun! I'm expecting some cheese... actually a lot of cheese - oh yeah, some football too (yeah! Can you feel the sarcasm?)
Anyway, that's about it for our trip wrapup... tomorrow: back to AZ (Ahhh... 70 degree weather again!)
EVERYONE HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY NEW YEARS!!
SEE YA IN '06!
Mappy Christmahannakwanzaka!
Yay...Christmas 2005 has come and gone. I think everyone has gotten everything they wanted. We've been eating all day. Barbara and I even got a chance to take a nap this afternoon.
So far the weather hasn't been too bad. It was a little cool yesterday but nothing too bad. Some rain and a little cool today but overall not that bad.
We started Christmas morning at 8am this year (not too painful since even 8am is late for us to be sleeping.)
What a nice relaxing day!
We got into NJ with very little problems yesterday. The plane was a little delayed leaving (no biggie) but the flight seemed to go by very quickly.
So now we're on the road tomorrow to go down to Maryland to see the rest of the family. That should be nice.
ok... time to finally get to sleep.
:n)
Last Day
So today is my last day at work until next year... I'm taking all next week off of work - Yay!
While it will be nice to be away for a bit, it's gonna be a hectic week of running around visiting everyone. We're gonna be leaving warm weather (supposed to be in the 70's this weekend here!)
I've been awful at posting to my blog since I started this new job.
A bunch of the people are gone from work today. I really don't feel too motivated to do much today. Hence the reason why I'm online posting to my blog when I should be trying to do some work. I think I've overly busted my butt for the past 2 months... I guess I can take a breather.
So lets see... what else?
Almost There!
Wow, Christmas is only 1 week away now!
I braved the mall today to do all my shopping for the mrs. It was ridiculous. I can't believe I waited so long to take of it, but I've been very busy with work.
The lines at the mall were long and parking was horrendous. But what can ya expect a week before Christmas? I'm an idiot, I know!
Now that some of my work events have come and gone (successfully), I have a chance to breathe and a chance to catch up on some things. Otherwise, everything has been pretty much the same for us: Work and school.
At this point, our weather has been pretty nice. We're not looking forward to the cold Northeast weather!
What weekend?
I hate that the weekends go by so quickly. On Friday, some of my coworkers did a happy hour at a mexican restaurant, and then yesterday Barbara's work had their holiday party. Today was all about shopping.

First of all the party was very nice. We had a very nice time and all of her coworkers and spouses seemed very nice as well. I think I got some good shots of the all the people and the gift exchange.
Today we braved the mall and did some more Christmas shopping. I think we're about 75% done. Whew! It was crazy there. Besides going for our family shopping lists, I managed to find something for Barbara too! It may not be a surprise, but at least I know she loves it.
I had so much work, school work, and other house hold stuff to do (i.e. decorate the house in christmas stuff). But unfortunately I had no time and now it's already Sunday night. Damn it.
