  The Don

My wifey and I went to a happy hour (marketing and architects groups) last night in downtown Phoenix. It was at the bar in the Hyatt. I met a few new people and saw several that I've known for a bit.

About a half an hour after we arrived, we looked over our shoulders to notice Don King sitting with an entourage of about a dozen.

At first we weren't sure... he looks a lot smaller than you'd think. No... it was definitely him. Who else would be wearing a rhinestone embellished denim jacket with sequins and an image of his own face on the shoulder?

I was dying to get a photo with him - I had treo on me.

So I went over, shook his hand and asked to take a photo with him. He nodded and said, "sure." Don King didn't seem too happy but whatever...

So I gave my wifey my cameraphone and then threw an arm over him and smiled. I'm not sure what the hell happened, but for some reason, the camera didn't save the photo.

Oh well! One of the other guys at the happy hour got a photo. So that is what you see to the right.

  Relaxing Friday
On this lazy Friday afternoon I am at home taking a half day. I've been crazy busy this week and put in late hours last night (at work till 10:30 putting a proposal together).

So needless to say, I'm working on getting my ass print in the couch.

I was watching tv, and stumbled on to this pretty cool commercial:

YouTube - Pharrell - HP Commercial

Youtube is cool.

  DOH!
I am so pathetic! We were in such a rush to leave yesterday that I forgot my camera!!! How the hell did that happen? I always remember that.

I think the problem may be that I didn't bring a backpack with me on the plane cause I had my laptop as well. I usually throw all my electronics in my backpack.

We've just been so busy, and we woke up a little late as well!

At least all the other guys will be taking plenty of photos.
