DIY After two weekends of back-breaking work, I have finally completed my first new home project. I got our paverstone patio installed. It's not as level and flat as I would like it, but I think overall I did a decent job. This last weekend was the final step of tamping down the stones with a (rented) plate compactor and spreading all the sand to fill in the cracks.

I was such a dumbass last weekend, and I took off my shirt as I was working. BIG MISTAKE!!! My back is still dark red from the intense sunburn.
