Yay... back to normal
the AC repair guy finally came out last night at about 5:30. Within minutes of talking to me and checking out the system, he knew it was the motor. While he didn't have any more in his van, there was another tech somewhere close in the field. Luckily he had one and the AC was back up and running within 45 minutes.
NICE!!!!
I didn't even have to sign anything (it's all covered under my warranty with the house.)
I'm very glad they took care of it ASAP. It was starting to get up to 93 in the house!

New Year Updates
For some reason when I load Jame1030.com, Firefox tends to repeat the bottom border of the top panoramic image. I'm not sure why it does this, and it bothers the shit out of me, but I really don't have time to fix it.
At some point in the near future I'd like to give my site a complete revamp, but I'm thinking that may need to wait until after we get more stuff done in the house. Not that we'll be done with the house any time soon, but our weekends have been busy with getting our house together.
House update:
The house is great. We installed some new front garage lights. I used the recommended 100 watt bulbs, but I swear we were lighting up the whole damn street. It may be that our not all our neighbors have front lights yet. So that contributes to the darkness, but our lights were too damn bright. 60 watt'ers are much better... less blinding.
We finally got the 2nd guestbedroom cleared out and things have been separated into managable piles within the room. Unfortunately I think things will stay like that until we have to get it ready for my parents to come and visit in March.
One of my wifey's coworkers just moved into an apartment and had nothing but a bed and some lawn furniture. So it worked out well that he took both our couch and loveseat. While he was here, he did us a favor and helped clear out more furniture by taking the papazon, a cabinet, and an old television. I guess it all comes back around again. I remember being donated a ton of shit from friends and family when I first moved out. Now I get to pass my junk on to others.
So what else is going on?
We finally firmed up our dates for our trip to Orlando next month. It should be really fun! I'm finally going to meet some of her old friends, hopefully see Sam & Amy, my grandfather, and
we're going to Disney! I haven't been there in years. I think I was still in high school when I went there last. So it should be so much fun.
