Some New Photos`
I went to a spring training game with my dad last weekend.
Here are some
photos from that:
Spring Training PhotosAdditionally, we went to the AZ Renaissance Festival. It was my first time, and it was very interesting. We seemed to eat a lot! Of course I took my camera with me. So I took a bunch of photos:

Memories...
Lately I've seen several travel shows about New Zealand.
That was an awesome trip. That was the last time I went on a vacation with all the guys...oh, no my bachelor party was the last trip with all the guys.
Ah, the days of being a bachelor!

I definitely want to go back someday. I guess for now I will have to resort to viewing our photos (
Jamie /
Seth).
Otherwise, I can divert my "long-lost" travel bug to future adventures in December (hopefully);n)

I Got Published!

My wifey and I were a part of a charity event called Canstruction. Teams were assembled to build structures out of cans. All the food was then donated to a local food bank. I was assigned the duty of Event Photographer.
It was a long Saturday (8am to 6:30pm). It was way too early to be up on a weekend morning.
After the placement of about 60,000 cans, we had 12 structures built.
The media was out at our event. The television cameras were there. Newspaper reporters were there. It was amazing the coverage the event received.

The local newspaper was also going to run a story today. Lo and behold, they actually ran it. Unfortunately I don't have the article here. I'll post it later.
But the newspaper's website featured a short write-up and featured my photos (with credits)!!! The photos are my best work, but they still made it in the paper!
Check it out
hereI hope to also post all my pics from that day (ok, not all 667 photos). Check back soon!

Is This Arizona???

So I guess it does snow in Arizona!
There wasn't much accumulation near us, but some areas around the valley had enough to build a snowman! (there was a photo in the newspaper)

Orion in the SouthWest

I was in the backyard late one night, and I snapped this photo of Orion. The lightness of the photo is from the city lights of Phoenix (to the West).
